I have had AT&T since March 3rd 2006 (yes, I remember the exact date). My service has always been very good (except when they tore down the TDMA towers, its normal now though). I even proceeded to get a job with them. I not only used my Pearl to test but have also had Motorola V551 / 557 and RAZR, Sony z500 and w600, Nokia 6682 and 6126(Nokia's are the best), BB Pearl (equal to Nokia). I also travel in Gardner too.

Ok I am not happy with T-Mobile right now. I got a cell phone( the Samsung Exhibit II 4 G) I can not get make or receive calls on my cell. I will have 3 to 4 bars ( couldnt check to see if it was my cell as my son as the same one but he is at his aunts house for vaction). So I went back to T-Mobile store they put a new sim card in it. Came back home still not working so I called T-Mobile and we did all there trouble shooting for the cell. They said I must have a defective cell to go back to the store and exchange it. I have done that and its still will not let me make or receive calls. I got incontact with T-Mobile again talked to there tech support they did all the trouble shooting and then I told them I should be able to make and receive calls if it is bounce off of At&T tower it would then be roaming this is what was said to me... Okay so looking at our coverage map you are in a known service impacted area so right now we are aware there is an issue where you are and we are working to resolve it. As far as roaming although AT&T is in the area we don't have a roaming agreement there so the phone will attach to AT&T in case you need to dial 911 but will not allow any other calls. So you basically have two options, if you want to give us time to resolve it great as soon as it's fixed you can message me and we can compensate you for the days it was not working, the other option is since you got the account just recently you do have the 14 days to decide if you want to cancel or not. Let me know how else I can help I then said What do you mean by service impacted area? Also how long will this take to fix? And the response I got is this... Basically there is an issue with your local tower (which is why when you travel it works) the good news is the engineers are aware of it and working on it but the bad news right now is that I don't have any information on when they are planning to have it repaired. I am not happy as the person said that they are aware of it but can not give a time fram when it will be work. This is not right... They should have planed better and maybe talk to AT&T about a temporarily contract for roaming so that their customers can make and receive calles out here until they have it fixed.

i have had T-Mobile for almost two yrs and the service is horrible in my town. I have no coverage at all. I am due for an upgrade and was talking to them and they say oh well get a data plan for wi fi. very disapointed
