No reception throughout building, 2nd floor and below, even with clear view toward Longwood. Reception, once good, died gradually two years ago. T-Mobile claim several towers within 1 / 4 mile. Service requests result in local towers being checked, but coverage holes are not investigated. Was told that I should have tried the E70's SIM in the G1 phone - the one test I didn't try; I think they're grasping at straws. Verizon and Sprint have passable reception; AT&T's is quite good.

All Hype no substance. I fall off to 1X in my house ( I stayed on 3G with AT&T ) and this thing can't surf the web or do email while I'm on the phone. What a piece of crap. it goes back today

I have an IPhone and love the phone and the service. This site should really stop company reps from posting false and misleading information. Its pretty obvious the same person from Verizon posted all the negative comments about other carriers on November 6. How do I know? Well I haven't seen three people with a Droid much less all of them posting comments on the same day!

I didn't mean to put Verizon Wireless for the network. I ment to put T-Mobile. I will be switching to Verizon Wireless. My house is a dead zone for T-Mobile. Just like AT&T.

I have had AT&T and an iPhone 3GS for 10 days. It's going back to the store tomorrow. I had Verizon for 6+ years and never dropped a call. I have 4 dropped calls in 8 days with AT&T. Completely embarassing. The iPhone is incredible as a device, but the service is an incredible let down. Switching back to Verizon tonight.

WHile I can get perfect signal with T-Mobile partners sitting on the beach in India or at 14,000 feet in the Swiss Alps, signal strength here in the Boston and Cambridge area is nothing short of insulting. A big city and all TMobile can respond to several phone complaints is with a "Sorry" and "we will forward the issue to our technical department" Time to change, probably to Verizon who I hear has the best coverage here and across the NE

No reception and calls get dropped, plus cell issue, it likes to freeze at times... ... DON'T DO ITTT, Sprint needs 2 get on the ball! I hate sprint, thinking about switching to either T-Mobile or Verizon, but Verizon is expensive, so maybe T-mobile

Anywhere on west 5th street. Anywhere on marine road. Bought the apple iphone couple months ago. Could not make or recieve any calls in these areas. Went to radio shack and bought a $20 AT&T pay as you go cell phone and guess what. Works a lot better,... ... As bad as AT&T signals are, Apple has seriouly dropped the ball with their interior antennas.

wow, AT&T is lucky they have good phones because their service is horrendous. Verizon works much better anywhere in the country, and living in Boston, a big city, I am surprised that AT&T cant pick up their slack

Half of the time, I cannot initiate calls from inside my condo. I don't tend to get many drops when I actually make calls, but still. Appalling.
