My work just switched us over to Verizon Wireless. AT&T has so many problems here. Verizons network works great here. I can't wait for 4G to be released in the coming weeks. I also have a lot of friends are are switching to Verizon because of the Incredible. The iPhone hype is Dying.

I have an IPhone and love the phone and the service. This site should really stop company reps from posting false and misleading information. Its pretty obvious the same person from Verizon posted all the negative comments about other carriers on November 6. How do I know? Well I haven't seen three people with a Droid much less all of them posting comments on the same day!

Never had a problem with Verizon coverage in this area. I'm getting a smartphone and Verizon is too much of a price to pay. I was told T-Mobile was great in this area as well. So I'm swithching.

Verizon works great in Back Bay and seems pretty good throughout most of Boston. I have occasional dropped calls but don't recall having hit a "dead spot" in the city. I am considering switching to T-Mobile because they have better phones and cheaper plans... I'm just not sure how T-Mobile performs throughout the rest of the Boston metro area.

I get perfect reception in most of Boston, but there are some spots with no signal at all: 1. The Memorial drive twist betwen Galeria mall and MIT 2. Crossing BU bridge 3. Getting off Storrow drive to Fenway 4. Parts of Sudbury and soranding towns. 5. Parts of Rt. 109 in Medway area. 6. Tr 93 Medford area 7. Lee and Newton street area in Chestnut Hill. Happy with the servise. Not happy with the upgrade phones and the way they offer things to strangers, but not to the loyal long term customers.

The people who are having reception problems with verizon in boston need to make sure it is not a problem with the phones. Almost every phone verizon services now gets full reception in most of boston, after all, verizon is the landline carrier and practically own the boston telecom market. remember, new every 2, one of the phones listed i know is over 2 years old, go to the store.

I'm mystified by the folks reporting problems with Verizon. I have used my frequently dropped and otherwise abused Motorola V60 all over the city and burbs with no problems whatsoever. I switched off of Sprint four / five years ago and have no complaints about phone service. Their customer service, however, sucks and I am desperately trying to find another carrier with comparable coverage who will pamper me.

Good reception on the street near JFK / UMASS train station, in my 3rd floor apartment. My E105 seems to have better reception than my friend's T-Mobile Motorola V300.

Great reception, even inside my office (internal room, no windows). Only had a problem once, but calling T-Mobile revealed that they were doing repairs on the cell tower.

Not bad on the phone - but the G3 network - well that could be better - also there's no wi-fi services available so always on my internet connection which doesn't always come through and lags. Phone reception spotty - often calls will be missed without ringing - but don't often drop. Could be better, but anything better than ATT Wireless.
