Concord ave / Huron neighborhood is very spotty. Have had AT&T for years; it sucks here (recently moved here) both indoors and outdoors. Good signal sometimes, other times zero or Edge. Same location and even time of day! I complain to AT&T every day. So should you.

my contract with Verizon ends soon and i'm looking forward to switching to another carrier. spotty in bldgs around here and can't use it well in all areas of my home but what really gets me is verizon's data requirement.

I get tons of dropped calls and very poor reception. Even on the street outside my house my reception is poor. When Verizon gets the iPhone, I'm done with ATT.

AWFUL reception! I've been on AT&T for about 1.5 years and the reception wasn't bad until this summer. Now it's just horrendous. A cell phone is necessary for my business and I cannot have such awful service. Time to move on!

From reading other comments, T-Mobile is not the only carrier with signal problems in Avon Hill. A couple blocks over the signal is OK, but on my block it's X to 1 bar and regularly hops between analog and digital signal, or misreports a 3G signal until I try to use a data service and it goes to X.

Reception along this corridor in the past few months has been terrible - used to be much better. Very frustrating...

Very poor reception; often none at all; I tried different phones on AT&T service but all the same. Considering switching carriers when contract is up.

AT&T works much better indoors than my old T-Mobile (didn't work at all inside). AT&T solves the problem of the strange cellphone dead-zone (I've heard complaints about Verizon, and have personal experience with T-Mobile) on south side of Avon Hill.

Very bad reception from ATT. Dropped calls, poor or no 3G, cannot surf and talk at the same time. Am considering going back to Verizon - though they are more expensive.

Have replaced 3 Samsung phones in 12 days (now have phone #4 a SonyEriccson w518a) and finally discovered when the AT&T 3G phones search for a signal in weak areas such as mine ( 1 or 2 bars) a fully charged battery runs out in less than 24 hours with only 10 minutes of talk time. I'm returning to Verizon which was nearly faultless for the past ten years. I made the switch since my kids have iPhones and we wanted a family plan. Very discouraging and AT&T personnel did not know this problem exists.
