Center of Easthampton is pretty good now. Recently expanded into this area. Coverage on Rte 10 heading towards Northampton is full bars. spotty EV-DO coverage, but it's there.

Pretty much no reception.

Verizon is useless in Easthampton. Constant dropped calls, NO reception often, and when it is available it is half of one bar.

You might as well use a tin can and string in Easthampton with Verizon. Reception is poor if you get any at all. Much better of with T-Mob or NexTel here in the Hamps.

Reception is usually at 4 bars, but bounces up to 5 quite frequently. The water tower on Ferry St.has cell antennas, not sure if it's one or more companies. Throughout Easthampton I've never had a problem making or receiving calls.

Coverage just enough to get the ring. Answer the call and it either gets dropped or you can have a choppy conversation only hearing every fourth word - and then get dropped. Coverage terrible along RT 10 from egde of Westfield until you get into Northampton. Cingular coverage great through this area. Hmmmm.

At the store I was assured of coverage in Westhampton, but when I asked for a test phone to go see, I was given a lame excuse. Unfortunately I believed them... six months later, still no signal. In the area where there is a signal, it's still not GSM.

Not bad throughout most of easthampton except between east and northampton where i may be cut off with a phone that generally has above avg reception (s105) --some other spotty areas, but way better than verizon in this town and northampton. Also better than cingular here and much better than cingular nearly everywhere else. tmo is not so great when roaming on a cingular network, however, on west coast (san diego-10/03). about equal to sprint in e'ton, but better than sprint in most other places. I think that e'ton has a not in my back yard policy that kind of kills reception with most companies.
