cingular is the only signal out here.

Inside manufacturing Building almost no signal,until you get near a window. Constant drop calls.

I had ATT Wireless, then became a Cingular customer after the merger. I get decent signal on many parts of I-91, except when driving by Mt. Tom. Unfortunately, I get almost no signal whatsoever from my home, which is also near Mt. Tom. Sure would be nice if they'd add a tower on top of the mountain, right next to all the radio transmission towers that are already there.

Reception is good in most of the city but some spots when driving have momentary signal degredation likely due to Mount Tom and the hills on the west side of the city. Reception in the mall is hit or miss depending on phone and location. My old Motorola V60 had terrible reception (I now own a Sony-Ericsson) but my friends Nokia had no issues with mid-range reception. Holyoke Community College has terrible reception but there are a few kay areas everyone migrates to in order to place calls, mainly the bus PVTA rotary area and the ledges overlooking the fields and entrance between Frost and Donahue.
