I'm lucky if I get 1 bar at home or outside my house. Even when I'm at the Poppy (or New Seabury Clubhouse there is just no reception). It is becoming a saftey issue as I cannot communicate with my children because calls do not go through. Texting seems to work somtimes but even those get delayed when sent. So frustrating!

Bad area for most carriers, but at least I get reception IN my house, Verizon does not. I commute to Falmouth and visit my family in Sandwich. I shop / travel all over the Cape and up to Boston as well. I never have dropped calls. My sister has Cingular and claims she has pretty good reception most all the time.

Gee, if I could only stick my head out my window to make a call. No service at home. Spotty elsewhere on the Cape. I went to 3 different Verizon stores for help - finally was told that I need a GMS tri band phone - The LG vx600 is a CDMA phone which is older technology. Keep that in mind when purchasing a new cell phone. My husband has an Audiovox but only slightly better reception. I wish I never left Cingular. I will look online for an unlocked tri band phone - and then switch back to Cingular in April when my contract is up!

Terrible reception. Might have 1-2 bars, but when you recieve a call the call is usually lost.
