The "downtown" norton area near wheaton college has great reception from the transmitters on a water tower facing the campus. Rt.95, 495 also have good reception, however towards the mansfield line reception weakens for both cdma and gsm, but remains fine on rt. 123.

I never talk on my cell phone inside the house. Outside on the driveway, it's spotty. It's one of the reasons I send so many text messages: it's so much better than being cut off. Coverage has stayed the same for the past years or so. I usually get 0-1 bars indoors, 1-3 outdoors.

The signal strength is affected by the wind and weather. More often than not, calls drop. Very irritating.
