Reception used to be good. Switched to Verizon when I lived in Dracut, T-Mobile had NO Coverage there. But now Verizon has done something with their towers and phone. Their phones have the highest output of radio waves of any phone, hense best signal. But the new phones and towers sux. I am dropping calls and text's everywhere I go, in places I used to have excellent service. I can't wait to switch back to T-mobile. 1 / 2 the price but at least I knew where my phone worked!

Not very good reception around Reading or the Boston Metro area. In my house, and other buildings, I have to stand near a window. Often, esp. when indoors, it auto switches to "Roaming;" I wait 5 minutes, and it switches back to regular. It's cheap, so I keep it.

Outside coverage is OK. Inside coverage is poor. Whole west side of Reading needs a new tower or tweak the one on the Reading water tower this way. 3 / 4 mile away from tower and still drop calls.

I can only makes call outside of my house as well as neighbors and friends in the area. Calls often do drop, but it might be due to the less than satisfactory Motorola phone I operate.
