My bars will drop from 3 to 1 constantly, even while I'm sitting at my desk in my home office not moving. Calls drop often, like 30-40% of the time. I have no coverage in certain spots in my apt. and I have to take imp. calls standing in the corner of the kitchen to ensure they won't drop. It didn't used to be this bad, but since AT&T isn't helping me out much after 2 calls to customer service, it looks like I'll have to go back to Verizon... which I swore I'd never do based on their super-terrible service and hidden fees. How is it that these companies suck so much?! We have to demand better.

just bought an IPhone (newest model). Have has AT&T for over ten years. No reception in Roslindale at my house, Never had a problem before!

You'd think after spending $600 on a phone the antenna might work a little better and pick up a reception but AT&T's coverage in Roslindale is horrible. They better pick it up or we'll be moving back to Verizon in a heartbeat. I don't care how much we spent on the phone. If you can't make or take a call what's the point of having the phone.

I have just enough reception inside to see that someone is calling me. If I am outside, I might be able to pick up the call.

I cannot argue with tmobile. Between forest hills and dedham, I get 5 bars. There are some spotty areas in brookline including west roxbury pkwy by the golf course, and over by allandale farms, they constantly improve their service, and it keeps getting better. Keep it up t-mo!

perfect reception now that they put up new towers

My wife and I both got the same phone about a year ago. Hers started dropping calls after a few months, usually within ten minutes. Mine's OK, but the reception in Roslindale is lousy: on a good day I'll get three bars, but usually two or one. Reception fairly good elsewhere, even in Longwood's concrete jungle!

Great Reception in the house including the basement with Verizon Wireless. I can't rember the last droped call I have had with verizon. I used to have Sprint PCS and the signal here in roslindale is good outside and droped calls all the time inside the house due to a lack of a tower near buy.

Little to no reception. No reception inside my house. Lots of dropped calls. Have to walk down the street to get better reception. Dropped calls also along VFW Pkwy. in West Roxbury. Lots of places around here have little to no service with Verizon. Friend switched to T Mobile and has much better reception in this area including from his basement which previously had no reception.

Best reception I've had in the Boston area; even get full signal in my basement.

Not a whisper of reception for Nextel here.

Poor reception outside; no reception in the houses in the area; Did have AT&T, but believe it or not, it was even worse. Seeing the maps, I see why Roslindale has such reception issues - where are the towers? I guess if we were Beacon Hill or Arlington, we'd have better reception.

I get service everywhere in and around Boston. It works great but the phones offered are not the best.

VFW Pkwy between Center St and West Roxbury Pkwy no service West Roxbury Pkwy between VFW and Putterham Circle - very poor service
