Calls have dropped repeatedly on both Verizon and Sprint that I have used but I understand that cell signals are spotty for all carriers within a 2 mile radius.

At my house, which is 2 blocks from the corner of Hampshire and S. Main, I miss most calls. The phone will occasionally ring, but most of the time the signal is inadequate to sustain a connection or for the caller to hear me, or vice versa. Between Sharon Heights and the center of town, along S. Main, the reception improves a bit, until one approaches the center of town (Rt. 27, S. Main St.), where there is little or no reception. I have had several models of phones, all of which perform the same. The worst part of this is that Verizon Wireless is in denial mode about this problem, claiming that all of Sharon is well covered. Very frustrating!

Since moving to Verizon I get much better service than AT&T. But center of town still has no reception. Driving between Sharon and Framingham each day only Sherborn has no cell service. Wife had Cingular for 2 years and just dumped it for Verizon due to my better reception.
