Just switched from AT and T because of this problem. I had at least an occasional 1 bar, and if I stood real still could deliver a sentence or two in their entirety. Now, I got Verizon for their so-called "complete coverage." I can recall being on the train back from Boston and when we got to a certain point in Weymouth / Abington, I'd always hear people lose conversations at the same location. It was a symphony of : "Hello? Hello? Hello?" I called the mayor's office today. They're looking into it. Does anyone else have this problem in this area? Forest Park area?

There is a large area around South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth where I get little to no reception on my Verizon phone. I get no service at all at my home on Pond Street. This is so frustrating because I have a great long distance plan and I'd like to use it to make LD calls from my home. As it is, I have to drive down the street quite a way to make a call. Also, I'll have 1 bar and never recieve phone calls. The phone won't ring and then a few minutes later, I get the new message alert. How frustrating! My husband used to have Cingular and the reception at our home was poor with that as well. I can't believe the service is so bad in a highly populated, busy part of Weymouth. We need to find a cell provider that has reception at our home and in the surrounding area.
