I love verizon.. get crystal clear reception in chicago, boston, new york, springfield outdoors. At times, there can be slight static indoors when phone is running low on battery, but reception is not a problem unless the building you are in is made out of very heavy stone / concrete / brick.

Reception is excellent now the Cingular switched to GSM. The only problem is my house, which seems to be a dead spot. I can make calls perfectly, but sometimes the other end can't hear me.

In general reception is good to medicore throughout the region. Except the handset makes a big difference, I previously used a MOT MPx220, when compared to my current S.E. S710a now it's like having twice as many cell sites in the area. But I do experience netwrok problems, at home nearly no reception, on many occasions I'm told by intended callers " I dialed your number and didn't get through" this occurs when I DO have reception. Service / Reliability seems unpredictable, I could say reception is good but how usefull are those bars? I will switch when I'm up, my next quest is in search for not only bars, but for predictable / useable / reliable "Quality Bars". Will I find this? who knows? I want to explore the strategic diferences in CDMA vs GSM and their recpective carriers

In my house zippo outside lucky to get 2 bars. When in Granby, wonderful, all bars are up.

No reception. Even visitors, using all cell phone services say the same thing..no service or very poor. The tower at 16 Acres Center is useless. We must be UNDER the radio waves!

No reception in my house at all. I had Verizon and had excellent reception.
