Switched from VZ to Cingular. Cingular gives me full reception for both GSM and GPRS / EDGE data. No service problems for the past 3 years.

Nextel reception in Wakefield is Awful. Almost all of main st, parts of water st and most of farm st into main st saugus do not have reception.

I thought that if I switched from AT&T that things would improve... not! When I tried to cancel the contract before the 15 day trial period expired. Well, if you're looking for a mind-boggleing exaspiration experience that's the way to go.

We have lived here for several yaers and have emailed Verizon about the lack of reception we have. My wife and I both have Verizon and have had them since they were Bell Atlantic 10 years ago. However it looks like we need to find a new carrier since its obvious Verizon has no intentions on fixing the problem. How's Cingular in this area?

The signal with my Motorola i60 is barely enough to recieve text messages, The phone somes times rings when called but rarely do I get anything but dead air when I answer it, and it's impossible to place outgoing calls. I borrowed a RIM BlackBerry 7250 from work to test it's reception and it was worse than the Motorola. The BlackBerry was unable to send or recieve both text messages or calls.
