no T-Mobile signal on most of the campus

I used to get good reception for about 6 months and then I went on a trip, had another sim card in my phone, came back and reception and dropped calls is really bad. I had Cingular check the phone on three occasions and they still cannot solve the problem. If it is the phone, then why does it get reception as soon as I drive outside the area? I did not buy the phone from them. It is an open network triband phone. I bought it to use on my travels. I phoned them to take them up on the initial offer for reduced price phones, but, that amounts to about the same cost for me to buy out the contract and get a new contrac with free phones somwhere else.

Cingular's service has been spotty here. Now its non-existent.

Inside at the front of the apartment I get 2 bars; anywhere else inside, I lose the signal. It comes in 3-4 on the street, so the coverage is actually okay outside, just weak enough not to go through walls.

Verizon works for me almost 100% at Wellesley College and everywhere else in the Boston area!

T-mobile has many dead spots on route 9 going into wellesley from route 128. Very spotty service in residential areas near middle school.

No signal at all.

Most of Glen Road up to Weston Road (and Route 30)

Wellesley College has ZERO reception when it comes to T-Mobile. Just off campus on Rt 135 works well, but once on campus it goes almost completely dead.

Inconsistant quality. I sometimes get calls in my area, sometimes get roaming blocks, sometimes do not get anything. Phone cuts off regularly, with "roaming or an "out of area" message on the phone, even if I am not moving. Or I will try a number and get a "roaming" warning and try it again a moment later from the same location and get through. Poor customer service. Do not recommend this carrier.
