5 bars most of the time, sometimes 4 bars, very reliable and clear reception. Some of my co-workers have other carriers (like Verizon and nextel) and complain about bad reception here.

Reception is good everywhere except in the library (especially the bottom floor) and the science building... some dropped calls every now and then but otherwise fine.

My phone has 7 bars. The signal fluctuates anywhere from 2-7 bars but usually stays between 5-7 bars. Reception is better outside than inside. Even when the bars are all the way up, calls occasionally drop, bars suddenly go down to 0 for a few seconds, then all the way up again. This may have something to do with being near the airport and / or weather conditions.

Reception is very poor in the upper Burncoat area. Never more than 2 or 3 bars and typically 1 or 2 bars. Used to have a Qualcomm (same manufacturer as the LGVX4400) that had great reception but this phone is awful as well as Verizon's coverage. When people call, I usually get the voicemail indicator immediately after the call but the phone never rings. What a great service. Can you hear me now? NOOOOOOO.

Poor to no reception on loxwood st. sometimes drops out for minutes at a time, probably due to weather / atmosphere

Phone only has 4 bars, usually all are working. Never a problem with reception pretty much everywhere in Worcester, except inside over near Dorchester St.at a friends house - probably the house as it's 3 bars outside on the porch.

No reception at all inside house; I am lucky to get two bars in the driveway, and even then the call often cuts out. A friend's Cingular phone had 5 bars in our house, though.

1 bar occassionally outside, often no reception. Inside, absolutely no reception.

As noted by other Verizon comments on this site, Verizon has very poor to no reception in the Newton Square neighborhood. Their transponder on Park Ave. does not penetrate the hill blocking the newton square area (NW of Doherty HS). Cingular gets great reception, however.

Verizon has no coverage in the summer and it is spotty in the winter closest tower is on Park Towers on Park Ave and the signal doesn't get over newton Hill, coverage is poor at the newton square rotary as well

Sprint PCS has very good reception, rarely has drop calls. They updated a new software for me. I have been with them for four years.

Signal goes from poor to non-existent as you travel Salisbury St. towards Holden. Signal dumps out still well in the Worcester city limits. Unexcusably poor signal in an extended area of Worcester.

No signal travelling in car when entering Webster Sq. signal comes back at full strength shortly after turning onto Cambridge St. (near Price Chopper).

4 or 5 bars outside, 2 to 4 inside the first floor of building on Green St., in Worcester.

NO SERVICE on the entire block.
