Reception has been very poor lately, even before the hurricane. What the he** is going on? I'm about a mile (as the crow flies) from the State Capital. This is inexcusable !

Cell phone reception with AT&T continues to deteriorate. It wasn't good for the past 3 years and it is getting worse! I am giving up on AT&T! I have been more than patient.

I keep droping calls while in the house. ATT says closest tower us 7 miles south of here. I am amazed that I can't get better coverage in the capitol of Maryland.

I have very little reception at my house. No reception at the high school. No reception at the shopping center. Live in one of the most populated areas in the country and yet have trouble getting a signal.

Cingular has always had good reception for me, even driving around town. I always had a signal inside my work place but now I don't. Now my phone says 'No Service' and I have to walk 1 / 2 way across the parking lot on Forest Dr.to get a few bars. The Nokia is now dropping calls as it rides around AA county roads. I get calls that go right to v / m when there's 'No Service' and when a signal comes back- there's no missed calls listed on my phone. It also takes awhile until I'm notified of voicemail. All this started in the last month when my phone change from 'Cingular' to 'AT&T'.

Coverage in this area is terrible. You have to drive a mile towards town to get a signal. You have to stand on your tip toes with aluminum foil on your head just to get one bar. Sprint is terrble here too. Not sure about Verizon but will see which of my friends can come by and check the reception. If they get a good signal I will switch to Verizon.

No bars inside or outside. Very limited area's within neighborhood with a very low signal or no signal at all. Bay Ridge very poor signal if at all.

It is very frustrating to not have cell phone coverege at this location. I had similar problem with Sprint and nextel. I am going to try Verizon next.

People can't hear me. Dropped calls. Impossible in Eastport especially when heading over towards Hillsmere / Bay Ridge.

No Reception at Georgetown on Forest Dr.heading towards Bay Ridge. Loud static starting from Chinquapin Round Rod down to Bay Ridge. Dropped calls down Bay Ridge Ave. to Eastport.

Low reception coming down Crownsville Rd, almost none on Epping Forest Rd. Other bad spots include top of I-97 and lots of spots in south Baltimore

I have had Cingular for about 3 years and the only positive thing has been the wonderful reception. Everything else from the customer service to the lack of unlimited text messaging has been down.

I have had AT&T service since the mid 90's, and the reception has gotten increasingly worse recently. I have a phone that gets much better reception than other phones on the AT&T service in the same place, but I still have seen a decline in reception.

Horrible reception. Drops calls all the time. Horrible customer service I am done gonna try Verizon because I know AT&T stinks also I switched from them before

I live on Edgewood Rd behind the Giant Shopping center in Bay Ridge. I can not get reception unless I go in front of my house. Sometimes on the second floor on a sunny day, but it drops alot.

I get good reception here and most places in the Annapolis area. Once you enter into a structure of any kind service is limited. Texting is great, even pix messaging and vid messaging is good. If you can get a signal and get a call out, the tower redirects and places your call on priority even inside. The only issue is getting a strong enough signal inside to initiate that call. Good Luck! When I decided I needed a cell phone a couple years ago, I decided on T-Mobile based on their pricing structure. Unfortunately, knowing nothing about cell phone service problems, I expected that areas that are shaded on a company's map as having service actually provide service... I get less than one bar in my house - that's if I'm standing in one of two precise locations and leaning towards the window. Ditto for my office, parts of I-97, any back roads or slightly rural areas, etc... My calls are frequently dropped when I talk while walking short distances outside (where I often have to go to use my phone). On the other hand, as one reviewer pointed out, I rarely exceed my plan's minutes!

Noticed that coverage really dropped here recently. Had been a great 5 bar area for a year or so, but now barely 1 bar with a lot of uncompleted incoming calls.

I get amazing coverage here, I suggest getting a verizon.
