The area defined by Hamilton Ave, Northern Parkway, Belair Rd and Harford Rd has dreadful signal, though outside of this area signal rapidly improves. My commute home brings me up Harford Rd, and when I pass Lake Montebello, I have 4 bars, but if I'm on the phone, by the time I hit Hamilton Main Street, my call has dropped.

No reception indoors. Limited reception outside (1-2 bars). Calls drop often. Phone rings only about 1 / 3 of the time when there are incoming calls -- voice mail notification will occur suddenly and mysteriously. Sprint advised to "turn the phone off and on every 24 hours". Doing so does not improve service.

Always get full reception wherever I go except in the middle of nowhere where none of them work. I've tried all the carriers, Verizon and Sprint work in more places then any of the others.

I had Sprint PCS plan (there was no reception) before switching over to Verizon Wireless service plan after reading reviews but found the service to be horrible with frequent disconnect during the calls.

2 bar reception at most, about half the time the phone won't even ring when there is an incoming call. Works well elsewhere but Hampden reception is POOR. Complained to Sprint PCS and was informed that "sometimes it happens"...

Great reception all over Baltimore, but I haven't really used it outside of Baltimore so all I can tell you is this specific area.

Wonderful service while consulting around the US and Europe. No service in my own home! Have complained for years and am ready to dump my loyal service recognition to a company that will earn my loyalty

Tmobile reception getting worse and worse, can't get any reception on vacation in places where everyone else has reception. I stayed with them for the customer service, then they announced my unlimited data would be cut off after a certain amount. Now looking for a new carrier.

Decent service. I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile. Service is about the same at a fraction of the price. With the exception of the subway; I have a signal where ever I go. Although I must mention T-Mobile phones are unreliable(touch screens in particular). Every 2-3 months I am receiving a replacement phone because something is going wrong. If only the phones were as good as the coverage.

Horrible, HORRIBLE reception at home. I live in a brick rowhouse, and I can't talk unless I'm right next to the windows on the ground floor or 10 feet from the windows on the second floor. I drop calls regularly (about once every 20 minutes), and it often takes a while before the phone recovers reception. If I walk a few streets over, the signal sometimes is five bars, but if a call gets dropped, it can occasionally take at least 10 minutes to recover. At that point, there's no use having a cell phone! I've been with T-Mobile for 6 years in other cities (Boston is fine, the Midwest has greatly improved), but I'm sick of missing and dropping calls in Baltimore--I'm switching!
