I have dropped calls, no signal. I have no land line so I depend on my wireless. I'm thinking about switching to Verizon as my friends that visit have no issues with their phones. ATT says the towers are experiencing problems ALL the time. I'm sick of it. As much muny as they collect world wide they should be working on the towers daily to ensure quality service! Pissed.

Verizon's coverage is fairly consistent in Bowie.

Three to four bars in the MD and DC area. Two to three bars in the Bowie area. Zero bars in my townhouse on London Lane.

I had absolutely no service in my apartment. I had to stand outside to make any calls.

With 2 Sprint stores within 5 minutes distance, I can't, for the life of me, understand why I get horrible reception. Text msgs. seem to be ok, at times, but actual phone serve is awful.

Verizon has awful coverage in the Bowie Town Center. I would like to think I'm pretty educated. I'm not some moron that is ranting about no coverage only to have a TDMA phone. But I walk down the main strip of the Town Center and my coverage will fluctuate. When I'm near Verizon's store I get a decent signal. One store away though... one or two bars at best. I've seen Cingular's new commercials about the least dropped calls, and they are backing it with testing from Telephia. I am interested in trying them, even if I have to pay my termination fee. Consumer Reports trumpet Verizon but in the Bowie / Mitchellville area at least, they are way off base. And we are just outside of DC which is a major area. Don't believe the hype people, Verizon is nothing but a hype machine. I hope they hear me walking out of the door.

Phone breaks within 1 month, charger dies within 2 weeks. Service with phone is pathetic. All other nextels work fine here, just this one... so far... is bad

A T and T is reporting that 2 towers are down in Bowie. Mostly we have 0-1 sometimes 2 bars on our phones and they get very, very hot. All I want is reception, phones to stop heating and dropping calls,etc.,list pf problems goes on and on. It seems from my research no service will be any better.

Bad reception and calls are lost. I have to leave the area and drive well out of neighborhood to get good reception.

The service is horrible around here. Bars come and go as they please but mostly go. I constantly have dropped calls or no service at all. I called Sprint to let them know; I took me over an hour to find out that one of the towers around here is down. They claim to be fixing it and there is a ticket for it now. They made me feel as if I was the only person having this issue. I'm glad I found this (and other) website. Call them and let them know where you are. Ask for the issue to be escalated and tell them you want to open a ticket for the issue. There is strength in numbers.

I've had my Iphone for 3 years and my service continues to deteriorate despite AT&T insistance that they are improving all the time. I simply feel the AT&T is not that concerned. I will be leaving AT&T as soon as my contract is up, I've had enough. It does me no good to beon the "Edge" or "searching for service" all the time.

Used to get up to 3 bars on the inside. None now and must go outside to get 1 bar. Something hase changed recently. Maybe month or more ago.

Phone works fine over here without any dropouts. Had the phone for six months so far! A record for me!

Outside home only 2-3 bars, varies widely inside 0-3 bars.
