	Now there is 'some' coverage. In 2005 when previous posts were made there was pretty much no coverage. You had a 50 / 50 chance of getting a text message through but no chance of holding a call. Now there is a new tower right across from the base but its either not operational yet or set very low as I still only get 2 bars max on base and no 3G pretty much anywhere north of Frederick, MD. One of my neighbors has a AT&T chirp phone I hear chirping every time I'm outside so apparently they work here now too. Because of Government communication Site R, Site C and Raven Rock this area is likely to be a Blackhole for a while.

	fort ritchie tried to call home no reception the rest of the guy's could not use there cell phones eather did not matter whitch service there is just no reception up here had to buy phone cards and use pay phone just to contact my wife same with the rest of the guy's
