Reception here is awful. Phone only works reliably out of doors. Inside, you can watch the bars fluctuate by the second. DO NOT go into a closet / bathroom / kitchen area away from a window! Your call will get dropped.

Dropped calls. Signal strength very weak. If indoors, most likely the call will be dropped.

My reception never drops below 5 bars digital on my phone now that I have moved out of Severn into Elkridge. I can be in any room in the apartment and it won't drop a bar. Now if Verizon would get a Bluetooth phone that I could link up to my vehicle for hands-free calling.

Reception inside my apt. with VZW is moderately better than with AT&T's TDMA network. I recently switched from AT&T and now with VZW I can use my phone to some extent within my apartment but retreating into rooms far from the windows results in a lot of static which is very annoying for both me and the person I'm talking to. However, this is a slight improvement over AT&T as with that service I couldn't hold a conversation in my apartment unless I was close to a window.

When in my apartment, reception is only tolerable if I'm by a window. Retreating into the kitchen or bathroom results in no reception. If I do so during a call, the person on the other end of the line can't hear a word I say.
