Not only it's poor, sometimes I don't get any signal. The phone calls get dropped even when I'm calling the Cingular customer service complaining about dropped phone calls and bad reception. Ironic, huh? I do get full bars sometimes in places in Maryland, but it does get dropped or right after I started a phone call, the signal bar either disappear or only 1 or 2 signal bars out of 8 remains. Maybe it's the phone, so I used Siemens that I used in Germany and Motorola that my husband was using in Germany. NOPE, there was no difference. Customer service sucks, they don't understand what's going on or they pretend they know the answer while all they do is playing with words, Cingular sucks big time. I would never ever recommend Cingular to anyone.

I saw on the tower locator where Sprint has towers surrounding Ft Meade but the best we can get with a Samsung EPIC, My BB, and my wife's LG Elite is 1 bar when outside. Even then we get dropped calls. I have notified Sprint 2 times via email and they told me that technicians were made aware of the problem and that no date has been set as to when they can restore the outage. I will give them one more week then I will transfer to T-Mobile. My $20 T-Mobile gets 4-5 bars in the same area. According to the tower finder T-Mobile has towers 20-30 miles away. It seems like Sprint does not care.
