	My Verizon Wireless BlackBerry works great everywhere I go, best carrier I've used by far. Went on a trip down South to Alabama and Tennessee, and it worked well even in remote areas along the road. Had a lot of trouble with reception on the Sprint cellphone issued by my office. Ended up using my personal Verizon BB for work and personal business all week.

	I've had Sprint and Cingular. Most of my friends have either Nextel, Verizon, or T-Mobile. Only us with the Verizon phones have any service throughout my house. In fact everybody leaves their phones upstairs if we go in the basement so they can still receive their calls without them being sent straight to voicemail. Sprint was the worst I've tried with Cingular not too much better. I had to pay a cancelation fee on 3 phones to break Sprints contract because I didn't get reception anywhere I ever really needed to be. (Work, Home, Friends and Families Homes) Trust me, it was worth it.

	The phone barely has any reception to begin with in the area and then cuts out repeatedly during every conversation.

	Two years ago I had a Samsung with Sprint and the performance was about 50/50. There were spots in the area that didn't get a signal at all. Now I have an LG VX6000 with Verizon and I've had no problems. Every once in awhile the bars will disappear for a few seconds, but I've never had a dropped call. On a side note, my sister and brother-in-law both have Sprint with new phones and they have no problems at all. My other sister had T-Mobile, it sucked so now she has AT&T with better results.

	Very good overall reception. There is one point along 270 near Shady Grove Rd. where the call goes out once in a while.
