Sprint has coverage 3G all over Hagerstown. Sometimes when in bedroom of brick apartment building, it kind of sucks, but it works much better than T-Mobile, which has absolutely no reception no matter where you go. 4G is pretty much none existent though, but 3G is great! We tried switching to T-Mobile due to high prices from Sprint but we seriously paid for it. T-Mobile=cheap with no service; Sprint = somewhat expensive but great service.

Switched from Sprint to T-Mobile, had T-Mobile for 8 days, with no reception. Couldn't make calls, send texts, use internet on phone-absolutely nothing! Then we had to pay $300 to switch back to Sprint on a crappier plan than we had before, plus pay off our former plan from Sprint when the T-Mobile ad said they would cover all charges for switching. T-Mobile refunded 2 / 3 of our down payment after 6 months of fighting for it.

I have had AT &T for the last 3 months. I previously had Sprint. I have had no dropped calls and excellent reception. The only thing missing is unlimited data.

Very Poor. I have T-Mobile thru my company. Have zero reception most of the time. Constantly missing vms and phone calls. Those lucky enough to get thru are dropped. Zero Internet other than my wireless. Sprint is not much better. Heard AT&T is good though from friends.

I've had AT&T 14 years starting when I lived in MS. Coverage here has been good with 2 VERY DISTINCT exceptions. Fountainhead and from State Line to Marion on 81. There it will drop you or not let you connect Ive called to ask why. AT&T reps give different answers. 1 tries to say the old phone is the problem, but then can't explain the new phone. Another said they seemed to have an extraordinary # of towers down here... Really - for 2 years-- I believe we will try Verizon...

I have the worst reception on mu cell phone. My service is with T Mobile / Family Mobile. It is so bad where I live I needed to get a home phone. I only get to hear part of what is being said to me many words are dropped. I can go nearly anywhere in Hagerstown and get a much much better reception. I have heard other people say where I live is a dead zone no matter who provides the service. I wish something would be done about it.

I have an ipone 5 on Verizon thru straighttalk and have no service in the Hagerstown area. I have great service in PA and south of Hagerstown. I used to have AT&T and never had a problem.

I've had AT&T for years, and has near perfect coverage in Washington County, and is clearly the dominant carrier. This does not mean there is not room for improvement. The county could use a few more towers in a couple of places to improve capacity issues, especially by the Premium Outlets. I also wish AT&T gave more bang for your buck in terms of data caps, but take what you can get. It sure beats Antietam Cable, I wish someone would buy them out, I can't stand them. If I could tether with my phone instead of my home connection I would. If you're deciding what carrier to get in Washington County though, you really can't go wrong with AT&T. For example, Sprint went down on Tuesday for 7 hours and everyone with Sprint, and Verizon since it roams on Sprint were out, but AT&T was fine.
