AT&T

By far the best carrier in Washington County. We recently got 4g speeds delivered by HSPA+ and its really fast. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use T-Mobile. Contrary to their rating they're horrible if your using smartphone data. AT&T definitely the way to go!

I've had AT&T for about 4 years now, previously having T-Mobile. I have nice reception but my phone is 4G only, no 3G and since I live in the middle of no where and can only get WildBlue Satellite internet which blows, I depend on my limited data for everything. I've been hoping for 4G LTE for a while now, hoping my PS3 would work online. Its 2013 I mean come on AT&T you sell LTE phones yet don't support them? I'd go to Sprint with unlimited LTE if I didn't have my contract for another year.

Sprint coverage has really improved over the last few months. They now have area wide LTE in Hagerstown, which is a major plus in my book! I thought about switching to Verizon, but now I'm a Sprint customer for life!

Good service mostly full signal everywhere I go in and out of town and along highways. Get 10mbps download and 2-3mpbs upload on 4g hspda+ network which is what Verizon lte gets here lol Verizon lte is a joke. When I pass through Montgomery county and get AT&T 4g lte I'm getting 40mbps + down and 15-20 mbps up can't wait till lte comes to town early 2013

I have had cellular service with ATT all the way back when it was cellone. It has always been plagued with dropped calls and this has never changed. Sometimes you have to hang up and call back due to echo effect. It's pretty sad when Verizon, who has no network in Hagerstown I might add, gets LTE in the area. ATT sells LTE phones but yet can't deliver the goods to back up the phones. Verizon always will be steps ahead of ATT due to poor moves on ATT executives parts such as the failed merger deal with t mobile that ultimately cost not only millions to ATT but also netted t mobile more frequency aquisition. If not for the unlimited data plan I am on I would have dumped ATT already.

I have Virgin Mobile, which uses the Sprint network. Calls get dropped constantly, and the "4G" data speed is a joke. I'm not racist, but when I can't understand anything the customer service rep is saying I have a real problem. The only good thing I can say is the "service" is the least expensive option I've found. Overall, I'd definitely recommend staying away from VM / Sprint unless you don't have another choice or don't want a long-term contract.

Slow data speeds (.20 mbps)call quality is average at best, occasionally roams.Less then 2 miles west of this location I am able to access Sprint's 4g network which is a vast improvment, yet any Sprint csr that I speak to cant give me any info as to when the 4g coverage will expand to my neighborhood, infact Sprint's csr's cant even confirm 4g in my area.EPIC FAILURE ! Sprint used to be the better deal in wireless in my area, now with the cost increases, and Big reds network expansion Lte is available in my area and the cost is about 25 dollars a month more,if I could just get out of this bs Sprint contract now...

I'm really happy with Sprint service in Hagerstown. However, I've been waiting patiently for 4g service. Anyone have any idea when this might happen?

Since moving to Hagerstown two months ago, I have yet to receive a single bar of Verizon Wireless signal (voice or data) in the entire Hagerstown Area. It is 100% "extended coverage" with no data. Perfect signal at work in Frederick. Oh well, after 10+ years with verszon, it is time to find a new carrier after my contract expires in a few months.

To get acceptable reception service at my home Sprint had to provide a Samsung Airave device and at times it still is not very good!
