I don't really pay attention to bars of reception; it's probably 3 or 4 in most places, and the voice quality is almost always clear and loud. I have used this phone for the past 2 1 / 2 years and don't remember ever dropping a call anywhere. It works in every room in my house, including the cellar; in my car wherever I've traveled; in stores; even out in the woods in Indiana. Maybe my phone's analog reception helps there. I have no complaints about Verizon's coverage.

My service with Verizon has been great. I've read some of the complaints involving Verizon service and I heard that the best brand of phone to use with Verizon service is LG because it works best with Verizon's towers. Also, some of those Verizon users with the complaints may not be updating their phones software by pressing *228 at least once a month. Of course, everyone's case is different.

Most of the time the signals are between 2 / 3, but due to the hills, when you are inside the house the signals can be 0 / 1. For the past 6 years, I have tried all major carriers and Verizon is still the best!

I know that Verizon reception is pretty good in Maryland but I'm really frustrated with my phone and the customer support I have received from Verizon. I have gone to the store many times because I have had problems with this model phone and they will replace it ONLY with the same model. I have already paid $100 for a replacement phone because my warranty on this phone had run out a couple of months ago. Now my only option is to buy a phone at retail price or pay $175 to cancel my service. NEVER SIGN UP FOR THE 2 YEAR PLAN! If something happens to your phone you are screwed!
