I just purchased an Iphone 4 and AT&T service. I get 4 bars in downtown Oakland MD but two blocks away at my home I have "no service." I just dropped US Cellular which was outstanding. I guess I'll have to go back to US Cellular.

T- mobile sucks averywhere. The new network coverage is a joke. You cannot even get your messages. Most of the feature except whatever minute plan you have do not work when you are away form the big city. What we use is cellular one when we are on vacation. THat is what T-Mobile connects its customers through. But non of the features like family plan work. So for all intensive purposes if you have limited minues you might as well not have a cell phone

I really really really think Verizon should build a tower near the lake. I always brag about Verizon and how its better and that Cingular (AT&T) suck and that they're going to lose profit because Apple is going to take all their money and AT&T will go bankrupt. Anyways I know SO many locals there that have said that if a Carrier was available there and was strong, then they would consider getting it. I strongly urge Verizon to build a tower there so that more people near Deep Creek Lake will switch to it.

I was able to make crystal-clear calls from the intersection of route 219 north / south and Sand Flat Road. Never could do that with my other carriers. (Us Cellular / Cell One)

Reception was not great at the Arrowhead Market and dropped away from the lake, at my wife's parents' home. In the house, which is about five minutes away from the state park and boat launch, I got about 1 bar if I stood in the right location.
