I originally had a Motorola photon. I live in an apartment complex. I never got the 4G signal inside my apartment nor around two blocks from the building. I had at times 3G fluctuating between 0 and 1 bar. Therefore the phone could not connect to the network (for data) The voice coverage works but it is spotty 40% of the time. Then I upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy II (Epic 4G Touch) also with Sprint. I got 1 bar in 3G but could not connect to data 50% of the time. When it connected I got slow 3G speeds. The voice coverage with this phone was slightly better, spotty stil but like 30% of the time. Finally I exchanged my Galaxy S II (I was still within the 14 days) to the SUPER Galaxy Nexus LTE Well, this story does not have a happy ending. The new SUPER Galaxy Nexus, does not get even 0 bars in regards to data. Voice coverage is worse than with the Motorola Photon, 30% percent of the calls I receive, the rest are forwarded to voice mail. Did a recent research on the net and some say Samsung just fixed the reception on the Galaxy Nexus for Verizon. Meanwhile with this phone being new (1 week out) from Sprint I will have to get back and see when the provider that I PAY EVERY month decides to fix the problem. (And please if you do not know, -as I did- the Galaxy Nexus does not work with Sprints 4G WIMAX. It only works with 3G and LTE. I just assumed the SUPER phone would do everything. Let;s face it, LTE won't be here in metro washington DC for at least a year. But as I can see, cellphone companies are like... .banks, you have to pick your poison. Next time I decide on a location of an apartment I will check my cell coverage LOL! Hope this works for you guys.

Since 2004 I've had constantly poor reception. Barely works in my basement or main level and I normally go outside if i'm going to have an extended conversation. 9 out of 10 times if I move around inside my own house the call will drop. Headed to ATT or Verizon next month. Would've done it sooner but my inlaws are on the same account and haven't managed to sync up the contracts until now. Bye Bye Sprint!

Suddenly, since yesterday, I am unable to make calls in and around my home -- after trying to connect, I get a message that says "svc unavailable." Repeatedly. Don't know if this is a problem that will correct itself after the holiday or if I need to switch carriers.

Signal is consistently strong, inside and out. I believe there is a Sprint PCS repeater or signal booster behind Tilden Middle School which helps.
