Reception is flakey at best in Four Corners. Much better when you get a mile out in any direction.

This problem started June 9th 2010-- after 7pm I cannot get reception or service at all until around 7am or 8am the next day. The phone type I have is a 3G mirror phone I live in Silver Spring 20901 area. Is anyone else having this propblem.

inside of house, lucky to get 1 bar, standing by window 1-2 bars, outside possibly 3 bars.

At the house, good reception inside (except basement), outside very strong signal. Previously used ATT TDMA, did not work well inside, had to go outside near the street to make a call.

Almost no reception indoors. Frequent disconnects. Slightly better (1-2 bars) outside and across street.

Poor to no reception in house.

Its really odd how I get no reception around my block but have no real issues anywhere else. Thank goodness for wifi calling if not I'd be screwed.

Drops out completely at times - won't send or receive messages and won't send or receive calls.

Just switched from my AT&T phone to Cingular, which they promised would improve reception and call quality. Nope--there are still nany dead spots in my house; I often can hear the caller, but they can't hear me. Going into the front yard is my only option--the backyard reception is awful too.

Since July 20, 2006, NO coverage on my side of the street (parallel to Sligo Creek). Prior to that (since I moved here 2003), strong coverage. Multiple calls for network investigation -- nada. Cingular sux.

Cingular has decent reception in this area at times. It tends to get overloaded at times and calls will not go through or come in. Additionally, the service is hit or miss. Sometimes there is a delay in receiving a voicemail notification. Also, the service is very temperamental as you start traveling around, working in some places and not in others. Overall the signal strennth is not very strong anywhere (even though my phone indicates that it is). The service is mediocre at best, and I would npt conitnue on with them if it were not for the fact that they use GSM technology, and this saves me money when I am traveling outside the USA.

SOS only in my house. Nice. Need to walk outside and up the street to get any reception at all.

Good reception around my house. No reception in Rock Creek Park. Have lost calls in various places in and around the DC area with frustrating frequency. Voice mail notifications come sometimes days later. Won't work in many buildings. Rarely works below ground. Going back to Verizon soon.

Severe dropouts and no-sgnal along Arcola near University. The entire Kemp Mill area has terrible reception for AT&T.

Barely any signal in the Giant. Can't call home when to verify my shopping list :). Also weak signal inside Target. IF you go to the bottom level..forget it!

T-Mobile works flawessly in the outside areas but for some reason it wont work too well inside Giant. Also if you go downstairs in Target at Wheaton Mall..forget about it...no signal at all. Otherwise am very pleased with reception in DC Metro Area in general.

This is a bad area for cell phone use... While there are "5 bars" on the display, I get dropped calls all the time. Sometimes I will try and try for 20 minutes to make a call from my home upstairs, then go downstairs and have no problems at all. I use AT&T because its cheap. Also, I would NOT recommend the Samsung SGH-A707, IMO it is a crappy product. Thanks

Occasionally good enough to carry on a simple conversation upstairs, but often no reception at all in the basement. Sometimes it works a little better on the front porch.

Varies between poor and terrible. Dropped calls are very frequent; frequently either I or the person I'm talking to gets feedback like microphone gain on the line. More than once I've had another conversation faintly audible in the background.
