I get two bars on a good day! Frequently my phone drops into GSM from EDGE and I miss important emails on the phone. I also have dropped calls driving up Rt. 8 past Matapeake and before the Nursery. My wife has a Treo 680 and gets just about the same coverage. Some days I can't even get a signal outside. Its basically unusable...

I get EDGE at most locations on the island with few exceptions. As for the cell reception I get anywhere from one bar to full depending on where I am. Near all the majors roads rt 8 rt 18 I get full service and can't complain. Other places like Thompsan Creek I get one to two bars, which is ehough to make a call and not get dropped. Every now and then I drop off to no service but only for a moment or too. Better than my wifes Verzion phonr which get some service but the call breaks up so much it becomes hard to understand people.

i get horrible reception with Verizon wireless. I used to get full service and now i'd be lucky to get one, outside! it all started when Cingular bought out AT&T wireless, and then it got worse with the Verizon UI. my friends with AT&T get full service around here, and even get some decent 3G, even though it's not officially covered here, annapolis towers travel signal. i'm fuming mad too because i've had to change so many phones from "software" problems and Verizon blames it on me when I do nothing to my phones and it's infact them. and my bills are always expensive. always. like $700. but it must not be that big of a problem for other people, most of the island uses verizon. for some reason.

almost no reception in house. two cubbyholes where I have to stand if I want to receive a call. Works outside the house, and almost all the way up rt 8, bu always drops calls near the nursery. Might be the phone, my wife has a Smasung and she has very few problems getting and making calls from anywhere in our house.

Calls always dropped. Messages appear without phone ringing.
