I finally figured out how Verizon creates "coverage" maps. Step one--mark everywhere as GOOD. Step two--mark dead areas as multiple complaints come in. The moral is you MUST call and complain or those maps will be forever wrong. Did just that and found a big white DEAD rectangle corresponding to my property the next time I checked the maps. Silly me--I always assumed they drove around in a little white truck and actually measured their network performance!

Extremely poor reception in and around my home. Can't even call tech support unless its from a land line. Just plan sucks!

Only 1 or 2 bars in any building on campus. 2 or 3 bars in any other buildings. Great reception outdoors and in train stations, 3 to 4 bars.

With the Samsung phone I get little to no reception in my home or on my street. With my former phone, Kyocera 7135 I had no problems.
