I finally figured out how Verizon creates "coverage" maps. Step one--mark everywhere as GOOD. Step two--mark dead areas as multiple complaints come in. The moral is you MUST call and complain or those maps will be forever wrong. Did just that and found a big white DEAD rectangle corresponding to my property the next time I checked the maps. Silly me--I always assumed they drove around in a little white truck and actually measured their network performance!

Extremely poor reception in and around my home. Can't even call tech support unless its from a land line. Just plan sucks!

Great coverage in this area... my sister and her hubby and I all have Cingular and works everywhere in the house (goes down to 1 bar in the basement but that's expected and still good) Cingular defintely raised the bar!

Service isn't great here. I have dropped calls sometimes. The calls are not really good. Nextel isn't a good service there becaucse you'll go from 3 bars to 0 instantly. Nextel is good for the most part.

From the intersection of Rosaryville and Woodyard Road until you get to the intersection of Woodyard and Old Alexander Ferry Road is a dead zone.

I love my Sprint service. I've always gotten excellent reception inside and outside. I wouldn't trade it for any of the others.

With the Samsung phone I get little to no reception in my home or on my street. With my former phone, Kyocera 7135 I had no problems.

Family uses Verizon and AT&T (Cingular). Verizon service gets 0-1 bar in the house. Really have to go outside, find a knoll to hold a converstation (teenagers have a favorite spot sitting on the fence on a ridge they like.. they are unhappy during inclement weather). AT&T (Cingular) is slightly better. Can hold a converstation when standing in the right parts of the house. Outside is 3 bars. Can see the Case Tower on claggett Landing Road. In fact, could hit it with a stone from my front yard. Must not have Verizon, AT&T, or Nextel repeaters on the tower.
