Just like all the other comments here Sprint coverage SUCKS! Always 1 or no bars in a densley populated area where you would think they'd have enough sense to provide at least adequate coverage. At the end of contract I'm getting rid of them. Don't sign up with Sprint!

While the publicly available coverage map says there is coverage, a company maintained unpublished map admits no coverage. My personal experience is that there is a dead zone more than a mile from the road.

Your kidding right, 12 years, and nothings change, sucky reception. Every now and then in the garage i'll get a bar; but I only keep the plan because of the family usage and rollover minutes.

Awful signal indoors, the person breaks up. Constantly getting dropped calls all of the time. Its pretty ridiculous. Signal wasn't even the best when I stepped outside of my home. Must be that the tower signal is weak here. Want to switch to Verizon, coverage is much better even in the basement with my family.

Service is poor never more than 2 bars frequently 1 or no service

No reception in the Accokeek area near Farmington Road. No reception getting on to 295. Very poor reception in my home (Waldorf). I would not recommend AT&T (Cingular)

Im in the carington neighborhood and can only get 2 bars outside and 1 to none inside. My wife has Verizon and she has the same problem. A new tower needs to be put in southern waldorf.

woks good around waldorf but have noticed is doesn't work well in the Walmart. Also in my house, calls drop out and the signal bars are always on the lowest display.

Nextel is terrible. I get dropped calls all the time in my house and sometimes you go from having all bars to none. What's up with that? I would not recommend Nextel to anyone! Stay away! Verizon wireless works great. It was funny because me and my mom were in the car... ..she didn't have service... .i did! LOL!

bad reception inside the building in my college, I used to get ok reception before, but it has not been good these days. overall average reception.

I get good reception in Waldorf, but little to none at my home outside of town.

Reception / bar strength is good in the immediate Waldorf area---but don't head south if you want to make a call. Between Waldorf and La Plata is fine, but after that calls always drop IF you have service. Not sure where service improves, probably not until Richmond.

Supposedly there was a AT&T tower converted to Cingular on MD 228, the tower about 5 miles from my house, and where I live, in Laurel branch, I get poor service. I'm lucky to have a bar or two. I can find spots with good service, and I have to leave my phone sitting in the same exact position to retain service.

My Motorola V265 does very well even in the house, although my Sony Ericsson T68i did poor at best. Prior I was with Cingular, which I had almost no luck with, even in outside my home, don't think it was the Nokia phones, as I had two different phones, and neither did well. My wife and I travel a little and have been very happy with Verizon and their coverage. With Cingular, roaming fees were a monthly occurance, or else you didn't use your phone.

Full bars reception here. No droped calls. Excellent.

With att&t cell service in Southern Maryland in General is poor in most areas, but in the LaPlata area and south is almost non-existent.
