Switched from Us Cellular to AT&T 2 years ago to save $10 a month. Big mistake. Went from spotty reception on Mount Desert Island to none at all unless I drive or climb to a mountain top and use distant towers. Also, for two years my phone rings only once then immediately calls voice mail. Neither on line tech support nor the folks at AT&T Ellsworth's office can figure it out. I may just end my contract early and pay the penalty. AT&T is useless to me.

Some reception on Park Loop Rd.and ocean mountside, but no reception on island mountain side to Route 3 close to the Tarn. Be careful hiking in Acadia!
