Live in Dayton, ME and in the Saco, Biddeford, Dayton Hollis area there is usually limited service. Our phones will shut off for no reason-laying on the counter in our house, driving down the road and even when we go to answer the phone. We have to walk around the house to find a signal and then stay in that one spot if we have to make a call. Wish there was a carrier that could provide us with service. Unfortunately just signed another 2 year contract for 2 phones. Husband is ready to throw phone out in woods.

I could be wrong but it seems in the last 6-12 months my reception has become less than tolerable. Most AT&T customers I know who do NOT have a smart phone have the same complaints about dropped calls and bad coverage. Is bandwidth prioritized for smart phones? I'm very unhappy with what used to be excellent service and can't get a straight answer other than get a smart phone and spend more... .ya ok

2 / 4 bars, but rated 3. 3G access works great. Reception is better in Portland. No 3G in southern NH

I have a home on Swan Pond and in Biddeford. My reception for most of Biddeford is fine but when you get out to the pond we have virtually no reception and have a tower right across the pond! Verizon seems to work if your within several miles of the turnpike but as soon as you leave you have no reception. Don't you just love these contracts and promises. The biggest rip off in America...

I get alot of dropped calls with TMobile. I don't recommend this company to anyone.

mostly one bar in house with some fluctuation. works but could be much better

I've had AT&T and now, Cingular for years. The reception initially (years ago) was terrible. Now, it's great. Have some family who visited who had Verizon. They could not get a call through. Second visit, they had Cingular and had no problem.
