I live in California, but visit my father for a month at a time every summer. I have to go that entire month without any texting, because his house has "No Network Connection." We live just 2 minutes away from downtown Bucksport and the bay, and there I average right about in the 3 bar area. Every once in a while, usually at 1 in the morning, a text message will break through and actually get to my phone. The phone shows "AT&T" at the top, meaning it's picking up something, but has no bars whatsoever. If you have a waterview home, your service should be fine, but everywhere else is very grainy.

I had Cingular, few years back, and used to get great service throughout Bucksport area. However ever since the merge into AT&T wireless I get almost no signal anywhere in Bucksport unless I am in the downtown area, and even then it will drop signal unless I am outside.
