A US Cellular tower is about to be turned on atop of Kent's Hill! This will eliminate the dead spots by the Fayette Central School, General Store west closer to Livermore Falls, and the back side of Kent's hill through Readfield where I always have poor signal, Wayne should see a great improvement also. I am sure it will help 41 to Mt Vernon a ways also. I travel Rt 17 every day from Fayette to Augusta and I will now have decent signal the the entire way! Comforting to know if you have ever drived that stretch in the wintertime when it is snowing... Thank you US Cellular! P.S. I also heard US Cellular is building one off Rt 27 near the Belgrade / Augusta line!

I have full signal sitting in my living room. Doesn't get any better then that! I am pulling from the omni directional tower located in Livermore Falls. US Cellular does a excellent job on all the roads I travel within a 30-40 mi radius from my house. Only a few dead spots / 1bar in the valleys, but to be expected when you live in the rough terrain of maine. I reccomend them to anyone over Unicell and tmobile, which use GSM has crappy coverage everywhere unless your in the middle of a major city! CDMA is the way to go, US Cell does a great job with it and the price is right, Verizon uses the same technology but their plans are WAY to much $$ for what you get.
