3G is available around CMMC, parts of Auburn, and Auburn south.

Rarely see more than 2 bars. Sometimes three or four if you stand near a window but you can't move from that spot once you get good reception.

Very poor reception, outside gets 1 bar, inside any building there is no service. Think very hard about going outside to make calls in the long, cold winter. Even outside, lots of dropped calls. Get Verizon.

Max of 3 bars of reception strength. Inside building though, signal strength drops to single bar or no signal at all.

Hovers between 1 bar and no service at my home; I generally have to be outside the house to get any signal at all. With the exception of I-95 and the northern part of the city, most of the area is completely dead.

Consistently poor reception in and around Bates College. I have also found many dead zones through downtown Lewiston and Auburn.

It is as good as any other service. Most of the time it works great sometimes it dose not.

Great reception from house. Good reception almost everywhere in populated areas of ME. No signal up north around The Forks and very poor signal on the coast at Harpswell. On cloudy days calls drop between the Gray exit and Portland. Phone even worked at Sunday River--outside the lodge. I often find that when calling people who are on the coast or at Sunday River, I can't reach them--not because my phone doesn't work but because theirs DOES NOT. They never have Verizon. I believe my good situation has to do with the service AND the phone--my phone gets all three types of signals and I chose it on purpose.

Have traveled throughout eastern US, from Michigan to the east coast line. Virginia up to Maine. I work in Brunswick and live in Lewiston. Verizon has consistently proven to be a poor performer. In Michigan, we were less then 200 yards from one of their towers and couldn't get over 3 bars. We'll be looking elsewhere for our cell phone plan.

Drops out coming into Minot and through Mechanic Falls.
