	Reception for voice calls was good throughout most of Machias and in Roque Bluffs. But no data services so e-mail never reached my smart phone until I headed south to Ellsworth. My concern - I plan to build a home there and worry that I won't be able to access my home security and control systems. Oh well.

	No matter where you go Downeast, there will be dead zones for cell coverage. It's unfortunate that no one can cover the area. I travel from Milbridge to Machias for work everyday, and there are so many dead zones, ie. JOnesboro, COlumbia Falls,Whitneyville Rd. I usually wait until I'm on Rt. 1A in Harrington to make any calls. It's pretty sad up here.
