At&T Good reception from roaming towers - well who owns the towers because AT&T is now blocking my roaming!

I can see a new tower across the lake from me. It looks like it's on top of Mt. Tom. Must have been put up while I was away this fall. Who owns it? I have the same problem many have around the lake here, poor reception. I need to go up on the road or out into the middle of the lake to make a call. Let's hope something happens before the summer.

Reception on Route 27 from Farmington to Sugarloaf or Stratton is ok but weaker as expected in between mountain ranges.I get 4 bars in Farmington but it ranges between 1 and 2 bars on route 27,sometimes 3 if your lucky. If Verizon wireless had good coverage and access to internet over cell phone here,I would rather have them instead.Since they don't,I'm staying with what works in my area.

Hmm. If you live in southern maine and stay there, You can use almost any service. North of Portland and Augusta,US Cellular is pretty much the only choice u have to get any reception and maybe unicel, not sure. I use tracfone which uses US cellular signal.Works great if you can stay out of the dead spots, mostly in the mountainous area's.It would be great to get Verizon Wireless and their phones,IF they had more towers all over the state, not just southern maine.I get 2 to 3 bars here inside and outside.
