	Overall cell reception in town Orono and on UMaine campus is acceptable, but barely. In the open, signal is typically fine for voice, very spotty and weak for data. Inside buildings, I drop signal VERY frequently, missing calls because of it. I actually get better signal roaming on (I think) US Cellular's network. This is most puzzling because I've seen GSM antennae on the union not 500 yards from where I currently sit, showing "NO SERVICE"... Below street level, at any of the pubs in town, you can forget any reception. My friends in VZW show more consistent signal in more places.

	Service is good in most of Orono but horrible in certain areas, including Orchard Trails Apartments. Most of the time my phone is on GPRS or EDGE network, there does not appear to be 3G high speed anywhere in this area that I've seen.
