Usually I can't connect and have to wait for some service to show up. Once connected I get bad reception and / or Dropped. I'm ready to change.

no bars, and this is just recent in the past 2 weeks..what is going on? 3-24-09

No reception in North Saco with this carrier inside, maybe 1 bar outside if lucky.

Reception seems to have improved here. I now get 3-4 bars, inside my home

Had some reception with my old Samsung D-407 but none with my shine. Returned it and will try a Motorola razor 3. Stay tuned

Bad coverage indoors towards Old Orchard. Get around 2-3 out of 5 bars outside, if I'm lucky.

Usually average 2-4 bars anywhere I go. Calls hardly ever drop, if at all. Overall I have been quite pleased with the service. Especially when I take trips to northern Maine, I get excellent reception everywhere. For Southern Maine it seems US Cellular is about on the same level as Verizon / Sprint, but when you head north US Cellular is leaps and bounds better than any other carrier. Great service for Mainers ;) My only major gripe is that when I'm in a brick building at my school I can't get a signal while my friends with Cingular can get 5 bars. I'm guessing this might be a CDMA vs. GSM problem but I don't know for sure. Overall recommended.

Very poor reception here. Lose calls frequently due to reception strength. A neighbor a mile north of here has the same problem.

No matter where I am I get great reception. The only dissapointment is that it doesn't cover all of Maine.
