Great in my upstairs bedroom on waterfront where AT&Cingular (or whatever that company calls itself these days), Sprint, and TMobile couldn't get anything but static on thier best days. Also FULL BARS in Hannaford (Millcreek), CIrcuit City (Maine Mall) and Wal Mart (Falmouth). One area in Falmouth I had ONE bar and talked for over 6 minutes crystal clear. I hope to have a long happy mairage to Verizon Wireless (and love thier customer service on the phone and the VZ Wireless stores inside the Maine Mall AND Circuit City, both of which are corporate locations) U.S Cellular was faily good when I had them back in the day (2 years ago) but feel Verizon Wireless is one step above.

Major Industrial Park. 1500+ work in this area. My VZW services stop at the front door. I don't even bother answering the phone. I live rural so it's a trade off but there is a tower right down the street to improve service. Verizon needs to explore this option. Stop the excuse about buildings, come down to this area and check it out. U.S Cell, AT&T, Sprint, NEXTEL all work. My contracts up soon, I know where I am going.

Verizon service seems to be great in most of the places I go. I an outside sales person for an industrial distributor and travel all over Maine and NH. There are very few places where I cannot make a call. It has drastically improved since US Cellular has gone over to CDMA technology. My wife has a US Cellular phone - great results as well. I have heard nothing but gripes regarding GSM coverage in Maine. When will it improve?
