Inside my apartment or outside, my reception is full. All over the greater Portland area I have full reception as well, and have never had a problem with service in the 4 1 / 2 years I've had Sprint while living in the Portland area.

I just recently moved to maine from houston. I had an AT&T phone and had planned on keeping there service. In westbrook I had little to no coverage. If my phone rang in my house I had to run out to the street to get the call. I have recently changed over to US Cellular and, so far, the reception has been great through all of westbrook and all the areas that I travel to. I had issues with the phone speaker and US Cellular was quick to offer me a timely solution and get me into a loaner phone till my new phone was delivered to me. since then I havn't had any problems with them. all things considered I would give them a 4 / 5 rating only because the selections of phones was less than some of the other carriers in the area. well, that's my two cents.^.^ hope it helped.

It goes from no service to 1 bar, and does not matter in the house, on the street, across the street. Over by CVS you might get 3 bars then no service. Called AT&T a number of times and use their "app" to report things, but there is no planned changes and certainly no fixes, except a $300.00 device, that you hook up to YOUR broadband connection, and it helps ANYONE with in range to use YOUR connection. If broadband goes out, it does too. There is also a monthly charge. If you use a broadband that charges more for your use, there is that too. Oh and we have been with AT&T since there were cell phones, to Cingular and back to AT&T. If any other provider comes out with a IPHONE that works at all better, and for same or less, its GOODBYE AT&T! IF you do not have AT&T now, DO NOT DO IT, unless they make changes. Lets hope they DO NOT acquire T-Mobile either.

No matter who comes to the house or what service, no bars. It is like the dead zone. I have t-mobile. But friends have AT&T still nothing.

As of late my reception has taken a real dive, but only when I'm in my house. I'll have 4 bars but the minute a call comes in or out I have 1 bar. Other than this I never have reception issues.
