Cell service on the college's campus is a joke unless you have Alltel or nextel. even then, prepare to run to the nearest window or door in event of a call. I would say roughly 50% of my calls here don't even ring, they just go straight to my voicemail... a cell tower around here would be a godsend. I have a brand new all digital connectivity phone and it just doesn't do well around here.

I have 2 Alltel phones and do alot of traveling. While Alltel is not perfect everywhere, it does by far have th best overall coverage of any phone. No company has perfect reception everywhere and thats why Alltel give you the 15 day trial period. In the Albion, Marshall, Battle Creek, Kalamazoo, Jackson, Grand Rapids, Detroit, Coldwater areas Alltel works great, if you phone isnt not working very well then either do a FREE Software update by dialing *228 and pressing 2 or recon and get an updated phone at the new customer pricing.
