One bar (sometimes no bar) is all I've ever gotten with intermittent service, many dropped calls, signal breakups. Didn't receive two Fathers' Day calls because of this. Too often I fail to call out. I had to call 4 times to complete one short phone call. Sprint says we can get out of our service only if we pay our $400 for two phones. I can hardly wait till our service plan is up and their offers begin. They are going to have to listen to some very specific complaints that they don't listen to now.

Great Reception As long as it says Nextel on the screen the call will go through no problem

Alltel seems to work great downtown as well as any major city in Michigan. The only time it really makes me mad is at my house, as inside I cannot keep a signal long enough to even check my voice mail. After my 15-day period was over they then told me I shouldnt have gotten the phone I did. They said inorder to get good reception I need a Nokia or Motorola phone.

I have never had worse, they need to improve this or I will force them to do so.

I have been from Alpena to Lewiston with this phone and had almost excellent coverage all the way up until I hit 612 for some reason there is no coverage in the Lewiston area I think Alltel should find a piece of property in that are to put up a tower because I know a lot of people in that area that would like to get Cell phones and with Alltel being the big player in Northern Mich it would be a good idea.

I have only had Nextel for 2 months, but am very satisified. Sometimes I only get 1 or 2 bars, but have almost never had a dropped call. In this area, Nextel is the best!
