Bad reception in this area. This phone tends to shut itself off. Messages, for the most part, aren't recieved until 1-2 days later. Bad for emergencies.

Nextel is one of the most UNRELIABLE services I have experienced to date (I also have Verizon, see previous review... have had AT&T and Cingular). Nextel can get a perfect full strength signal one second, then drop-out to NO SERVICE the next second. Even if you are lucky enough to hold a good signal, the other person you are talking to on the Nextel may not... anybody that has used Nextel Direct Connect will know the all familar beeeeeeep... booooooonk that you hear more often than a voice on the other end. I keep hoping they will improve their service since they are the only ones that I am aware of that offer two lines on a single phone where BOTH lines can ring through, regardless of which line is set to "active" (for outgoing call line selection). All others, to my knowledge, must be switched to the alternate line in order to receive calls on that line.

lower reception here in my ground level apartment, but other than that, no complaints! great reception.

There is no reception in this area for tmobile. My wife also has T-Mobile and her phone also had no signal.

Very bad reception with T-Mobile. earlier I had AT&T and that worked wonderful for me.

Since having my LG phone I have had no problems with poor reception or dropped calls. My previous unit which was a Motorola ( CDM 93..Something) was so poor that I had to go out to my driveway to get 2 bars. I am more than pleased with my present phone and my service. Will I upgrade to a new phone? NOT ON YOUR LIFE!

Little to no reception in house, usually drops within a minute or so, need to go out on patio or on the pool deck for a stronger 1 to 2 reception.

Can't get service that great. I can hear other people, but other people want to smash my phone, they miss a lot of what I say. Its annoying

I get zero signal in most stores, especially Meijer, and around my sub-division I get very little signal. In my house I have to sit next to a window, pretty much agianst it, just to get two bars. Everyone in my house has this problem too.

Verizon works EXCELLENT in most all areas of my travels (mainly in the southeastern Michigan area). Dropped calls are RARE, although I was experiencing a problem around October / November 2004... couldn't hold a call for more than five or ten mintues TOPS. Very unusual, but it seemed to clear itself up after a few days. Outside of that, Verizon has proven to be extremely reliable for me. I also have Nextel... see next review!
