Oh don't worry, my phone claims I get bars, then it randomly goes away. Texts come in hours late, calls drop left and right. ZERO reception in the house. A particular call dropped 15 times in 30 minutes.

Was having only minimal problems before last few months, but now my calls drop 5-10 times daily, or I get the message that the "system is busy, try later" error message. The Sprint store told me the network is undergoing a change from 3G to 4G and they are testing many things right now, blah, blah, blah... and to be patient, but I don't even have a Sprint phone, I have an old Nextel phone. I am long overdue for an upgrade, but don't want to pay full price or be locked into another 2 year contract, esp. as the network is in transition, so am waiting it out... very frustrating! Tempted to buy a newer model but inexpensive phone at Target or somewhere and use BOOST or VIRGIN prepaid until the network issues get straightened out... not sure what to do?

I moved to this location from Long Lake / Barden Rd., where Wireless Air Card thru Sprint worked almost perfectly all the time... even streaming T.V. shows online with no buffering, stalling, etc... Have had CONSTANT problems with Internet connectivity at this location, starts with 2 of 6 bars, and then drops to 0, but will usually stay connected poorly with very slow page loading, and drops me off internet altogether at least once every 1 / 2 hour and can no longer watch shows at all! When in Troy at the service store on Maple / Crooks, I get 6 bars and perfect service, so they can't seem to find "a problem," yeah right! I ask over and over if this is a "dead zone" and they play dumb... apparently from what I've read here, it IS for sure, and for many carriers. You'd think we were living out in the boonies, not a populated suburb of Metro Detroit, near a MAJOR road (i.e. Telegraph!) Absolutely ridiculous!

No reception whatsoever (indoors or out) in area S of Quarton halfway between Franklin and Inkster.

A the time of technology, Bloomfield Hills is poorly deserved! No reception al all between Inkster and Franklin, Walnut Lake and Quarton...

AT&T / Cingular reveption stinks... ... ... .keep switching out equipment, but that doesn't affect a poor signal. I have to go out in the backyard and I can barely hear anyone... .going back to Verizon, where the signal was clear and strong, like Bull

No reception at all inside the house! Have to go to the middle of the backyard to get half a bar. Very frustrating. T-Mobile simply sucks for anything outside a huge city!

No reception any any three cell phones. Can't access voicemail. If phone shows even one bar, its only temporary, and call is dropped. Tried speaking with AT&T rep., literally got the run around, forwarding me to many others who would "help" me. One person even said they were having problems with their towers in the area. Pretty lengthy tower problem.

Wondering if it's just this particular location.

I live in metro Detroit and can't get a cell signal in my house or standing in my driveway. If I drive 0.25 miles in any direction it's fine. This is a TOTAL dead spot and is really annoying seeing as I work from a home office.

Have had poor reception with T-Mobile in Royal Oak and Northville, too. Looking to change service.

AT&T Wireless GSM, works great!

Bad reception here. Normally, I get pretty good AT&T (TDMA) reception. But, unfortunately, right around my home, I don't.

4G signal non existent at this busy intersection. 3G still available.

Often can't make or receive. Almost always fails during call.

I am the other half of the ATT post above. Terrible Verizon service also, but not as bad as the ATT. Dropped calls constantly.

Just plain awful service. Can hold a call for more than 20 or 30 seconds before dropping, and that you have to stand outside for.

In Cranbrook Schools, Cingular is the only carrier that is able to get a good reception. T-Mobile tells out-of-service area. Sprint does not work in the dorms. Verizon Wireless does not work under Kingswood Roof!

I had Cingular first and couldn't get my husband when he was at 14 and Woodward. Changed to ATT and it worked okay, but still would loose calls on Wattles Road. When Cingular bought ATT Wireless, I could only get and make calls infrequently. Cingular was not helpful and wanted me to switch to their contract and renew with their phones but they never worked satisfactorily. I am just waiting for my contract to expire in a couple of months. They don't have any service plans like my ATT plan. I think I will be signing up with Verizon since they are better in this area and much easier to deal with than Cingular, now changing name to ATT wireless without the service of ATT and plans as well. They just don't seem to care about customer service at Cingular / Att Wireless
