The signal fades in and out. Without moving the phone I can have all bars lit up and then nothing. On a daily basis calls do not come through, even though the phone rings normally for the caller. Frustrating, to say the least. According to the map I am in a optimal coverage area.

No Service at home probably 95% of the time I have it turned on, the other 5% of the time there is 1 bar (out of 5). Battery drains in about 8 hours because the phone is constantly searching for a signal. Called Verizon and was told there is no digital coverage at my address, and they had just discontinued the analog service.

I constantly go between a Verizon tower that will not take an outgoing call and poor reception on extended network ( Alltel towers so you can rule them out too but their reception goes up to 4 bars near the MIS track). I have noticed a major change to this weaker signal just in the last week. We had three Verizon phones at our house this weekend and they all had the same problem.

Excellent in the whole area exept when it rains heavy and along US 127 just north of Jefferson it goes out a little.

Hey, I posted months ago about the horrible coverage Verizon has near the Michigan International Speedway and all of Michigan, I want other people in this area to post until June 13th of 2005. We will be visiting for the 2005 DHL 400 at the Speedway and now have new phones, two LGs, one Motorola, one Samsung. The LGs and Samsung is great in SE Iowa, You get into Missouri, it's horrible too! If anyone else would go to the track, i'd prefer Nextel or Alltel, since Alltel is great in Michigan. I'm just trying to get Verizon's attention about their coverage in Michigan to say we expected better.

Verizon doesn't exist in Michigan, we went here from Iowa in 2004n and will again and we had No Coverage, Would love to see Alltel in Iowa. Alltel is basically what is Powering Michigan near Jackson and even Kalamazoo. Just wan't a cell phone that can get reception all over Michigan and into Indiana. Of course this was when we had an Iowa plan and were on Roaming.
