Seems that AT&T has the highest rating for this area. However they are telling me that I am sitting inbetween the 2 towers between Kingston and Caro. The service is good on some days and very poor on others and has nothing to do with weather. I have dead zones between Bevens Rd on East Dayton all the way to town. Heading west on M81 out of Caro, service shuts down. South on M24 from M46 through Mayville is only a sometimes thing all the way to Lapeer. I am very disappointed for the amount I pay per month of $127.00 Upgraded because I was going over all the time with everything. It became worse when AT&T took over Cellular one.

AT&T / Dobson service in the Watrousville area is absolutely horrible! You really can't use your phone until you get near Reese or Caro. Also, AT&T / Dobson doesn't work in Millington, Mayville or Deford.

I get excellent reception now that Cellular One has added a new panel to the Nextel tower in the fairgrounds in Caro!

Cell phone service is out; for 6 + hours... July 18th. No calls in or out. C2 is showing as a results of call attempt when calling out. New tower recently put in at Watrousvill, MI. Not certain if it is Sprint or Nextel. If new one installed at fairgrounds in Caro could be problem also.

July 18th... phone service has been dead for 6 + hours. Nothing coming in or going out. A busy signal. Screen shows C2 for results.

Nextel has frequent dropped calls in the Caro, MI area. We have about a population of 5,000 people and people's phones here continually say that the network is busy. There is too much over-crowding on the Nextel network.

Reception is exceptional considering it is "Extended Network" (roaming on Thumb Cellular's sorry network without paying for roaming). We sometimes have trouble in certain spots, but mostly we can make and receive calls whenever needed. I can do txt msging, but I do miss my internet connection. It's not perfect, but I haven't found a service that works better here, yet.
